Taylor Carlstrom

Taylor Carlstrom, LCSW

You’re someone who gives a lot to work, to others, to the world. But lately, you may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to care for yourself in the way you truly need. Whether you’re managing anxiety, navigating trauma, or feeling disconnected from you purpose, I offer a calm, grounded space to reconnect with your internal strengths, shift patterns that no longer serve you, and move towards compassion, clarity and sustained change.

My approach to therapy is relationship-based, fostering a warm and collaborative environment where you can reconnect with yourself or explore new facets of your identity. I integrate a trauma-informed, empowering, and client-centered perspective, believing that you are the expert on your own life and value lived experience. My role is to help you navigate your goals and challenges with validation, compassion and without judgment.

I provide individual therapy for individuals facing depression; low self esteem; disordered eating; anxiety, panic, and stress; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma; adjustments to life changes; and relational and family issues. I provide therapy for college students, professionals experiencing burn out and anxiety, trauma therapy and those going through life transitions.

I offer virtual sessions across Oregon. I’m culturally responsive, LGBTQIA affirming, and trauma informed.

I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you on this journey.

On a personal note…

When I'm not working, you can find me on the soccer field, exploring the great outdoors on a hike, or enjoying cozy moments at home with my beloved pets—Inca, Luna, and Mr. PoPo. Family is incredibly important to me; I've been with my partner for 13 years, and I cherish my roles as a twin and an aunt. These relationships enrich my life and bring me joy.
